The history of NUNHEMS dates back to 1916, when pioneers and
scientists founded the company in the Dutch village of Nunhem.
The company’s name comes from this village where our
headquarters are based in the middle of one of the largest
Dutch vegetable production areas. Through the years, NUNHEMS
developed and flourished thanks to the quality of its products
and its professional high standards. The development is best
described by its slogan “PROGRESS WITH TRADITION”. The
growth of the company started from its Dutch base and was
expanded with a number of acquisitions and foundations of
subsidiaries to become a major European player. Acquisitions in
the US and Asia followed, laying the foundation to become a
global player.
Since 1999, Nunhems is a subsidiary of Bayer Crop Science.
NUNHEMS employs more than 1200 people worldwide and is
represented in over 40 countries. It is among the world’s four
leading vegetable seed companies.
In China, our Nunhems Beijing Seeds Co.,ltd has corporated
office at Beijing. We have our own R&D Station and Offices in
some areas of our country.
Nunhems Beijing Seeds Co.,ltd consistently growing at a very
fast pace. It’s marketing and sales force, backed by a network
of dealers and distributors is well represented in all the
important geographical areas. It is slowly inching towards
being one of the leading vegetable seed companies of the
country.
